IDENTIFY

More than 1500 species have been recorded, most of them are compact perennial epiphytes growing on rotten wood, and are grown for their ornamental foliage. These species generally have thick, stout stems and fleshy leaves, sometimes with leaf windows, flowers typically come in yellow to brown conical spikes. Some species contain poisonous elements associated with alkaloid leaves and the stems. Found in all tropical and subtropical regions of the world.What are we talking about?
